EWM Drone Mapping Pilot (Pending Funding)

 

What you’ll do

• Help confirm what the drone imagery shows (“ground-truthing”)

• Conduct visual checks and simple rake-toss surveys (training provided)

• Record findings using a smartphone app

 

Time commitment

• 2–6 hours per volunteer, depending on team size

• August 2026, weather dependent

 

Additional need

• A pontoon boat and driver for mapping day(s).

• ~6 hours per day

 

Good fit if you:
