Canada Day - Live Music, Boat Parade and Fireworks

When: Wednesday, July 1st. Music at 7:00 pm. Fireworks at dusk.

Where: Moira Lake Boat Launch, just off of Hwy 62 at the narrows.

The ever-popular Canada Day Community Event including Fireworks over Moira Lake,  co sponsored by the municipality of Centre Hastings and the MLPOA, and supported by the Madoc Kiwanis Club, returns on July 1.

This year before the Fireworks we are adding  “Madoc and Moira Lake make Music!” showcasing a range of local talented musicians and singers.  An informal live music event—an easygoing evening where neighbours can gather, enjoy local talent, and soak up the atmosphere that makes Moira Lake special. Think low-key, bring-a-chair, invite friends and family, and come-as-you-are.

If you’re on the water please feel free to boat in and anchor to listen and watch … and add some festive “Canadiana decorations” to your boat and join our Boat Parade! Last year we had about 30 boats out.

Please take advantage of the FREE shuttle buses departing from the Madoc Skate Park before 7 pm. 

NOTE - parking is LIMITED. Take the shuttle buses from the skate park.​​
