2026 MLPOA Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting is a great opportunity to hear about: what the Association has been up to, future plans, and topics of interest. An agenda and information package will be circulated at least two weeks in advance via email. All members are invited to attend.

Where: Madoc Public Library (Basement), 20 Davidson St.
9:30 – 10:00: Meet & Greet
10:00 – 12:00: Formal Meeting

Joining the meeting in person is always preferred, but this year we are offering remote attendance to the Annual Meeting. TO BE CONFIRMED.
What this means
This year’s Annual Meeting will include a pilot for remote attendance, allowing members who are unable to attend in person to observe the meeting online and participate in discussion. This pilot is intended to improve accessibility while maintaining the integrity and orderly conduct of the Annual Meeting.
​How it will work
Remote access will be provided through Microsoft Teams. Members attending remotely will be able to: observe the meeting in real time, ask questions, and
participate in advisory (non-binding) polls during the meeting to help gauge member sentiment. Formal voting on AGM motions will continue to be conducted in person, in accordance with the Association’s bylaws. Advisory polling for remote participants does not constitute a formal vote and is not binding.

What you need to do to join
Members wishing to attend remotely must register in advance. Registered members will receive instructions prior to the meeting, including access details and guidance on how to participate. Full details will be included with the Annual Meeting notice so members know exactly what to expect.
