Summary of Centre Hastings Fire By-law 2000-21

During the period from April 1^st to October 31^st no fire for the burning of grass, rubbish, wood or other combustible material shall be permitted outdoors between the hours of 7:00 am – 7:00 pm, except for the following:

• Fire for cooking or warmth
• A small fire no more than 1x1 meter attended at all times by an adult
• A fire in a metal container covered by a metal mesh ¼ inch in size
